flowers!

on saturday afternoon i trotted down Pomegranate Place.
less than a hundred feet from my front yard is a field of wild flowers.
i sat down in it.
and i took some pictures.
i thoroughly enjoyed the company of the sun and the flowers.
i also made friends with two different ladybugs.

how did i get to be so lucky to see these?

what can i tell her other than to breathe?
how can i calm her down,
when i'm scared myself?

this is my friend juggy.

sometimes we talk about life.

and sometimes we just live it.

This heart was on the sidewalk while i made my way home this afternoon. I don't know what it's initial purpose was, but i've been thinking about it ever since our encounter.

i just realized that i no longer wish to read quotes
i'd rather read the entire book which an excerpt is from
or meet the person who said the famous quote
without context, can i really have the full meaning?
was whatever that was written or said meant to be stated without the context?
probably not.
so i think i'd like to abide by the authors wishes and do myself the favor of reading things in their entirety.
otherwise all i'm getting is a false representation of a larger body of work.
most of the time, thoughts are worth more than what a mere section of them says.

this restless mind of mine,
