sometimes roommates do silly things

like stay up talking until 4:30 in the morning the night before classes begin
or watching the Olympic opening ceremonies earlier on in the night
or making/eating green bean casserole

i'm pretty sure that God hand selects everyone who we become friends with or decide to live with because He knows what's good for us. i sincerely believe that everything has a purpose behind it...even if during the course of our lives, we never figure out what it is.

the days of summer have ended.

until the three of us meet again... <3

perspective

sometimes in the morning, i sit and look out the window.
i like the tree that's immediately in front of me.
stationary
stable
with immense amounts of growth and movement.
life is constructed so differently

i love the flat!

i love both of the flat mates!
i love when i come over!

i love osha thai food!

AND i can't believe i've never seen this movie before yesterday.
but it was well worth the wait.
it was amazing!
no, i did not cry...but i'm not a crier in movies (surprising huh?)
anyways, it was SO much more than i thought it would be.
sleepless in seattle stole a little piece of my heart last night.

haha, and i thought it was great how we were
young women watching a movie about love
in which there were young women watching a movie about love.
classic.

I'm dying without a television.

I know I give so many people grief about watching t.v.
I'm well aware of my hypocritical actions...because when I go home I become mesmerized by that magnificent little picture box that shows me things from the outside world.
And the Olympics have only fueled my unnecessary desire to waste away by watching other people's lives progress.
I must say, I'm addicted to Michael Phelps' quest for numerous gold medals. And now that I am deprived of that Sony screen, I don't know what I am going to do. I'll have to blindly root him on. Oh, but cheering for swimming is just so much more exciting when I can actually see the kicks/strokes/splashing.

And yes of course the Olympics hysteria has infected me too.
Yet, by golly, it's fantastic!

I knew August 5th was important...I just couldn't remember why.
Then it finally dawned on me.
