- waking up at noon and not having any qualms about it
- banana pancakes (can i say that joe is becoming rather good at cooking these)
- listening to my ipod while walking down the street and not feeling the pressures of life weighing down on my heart, head, and soul
- noticing special things along the path that i'm normally in too much of a rush to see, like this amazing fountain-esque rain catcher at the presbyterian church next to our apartment. in a word: mesmerizing.
- yelling, jumping, cheering, commiserating, LAUGHING at California football games
- realizing tomorrow is Sunday
i used to feel like summer time saturdays were superior to any others. but i'm becoming accustomed to these days of blue and gold, with a random trip to sway thrown in, and the freedom to go wherever life carries me. and even when i arrive back at the apartment SOAKING WET, i still have a gigantic SMILE on my face. i won't wait in anticipation for next saturday, but i do hope that it becomes part of the trend. [the eves of sunday during autumn]
